# DMParrot

> DMParrot is Instagram comment-to-DM automation for AI agents — "ManyChat for agents". Your AI assistant builds the funnels by calling MCP tools; a deterministic rule engine sends the private-reply DMs. There is no language model in the send path, so the same event always produces the same message.

DMParrot exposes a remote MCP server at `https://dmparrot.com/mcp` (streamable HTTP transport, OAuth 2.1). Any MCP client — Claude Desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT with connectors, Cursor — can connect and author Instagram funnels. It runs on Meta's official Instagram messaging API.

Key facts:
- Channel: Instagram only. No WhatsApp, SMS, or email.
- Authoring: AI agent via MCP tools. There is no drag-and-drop canvas and no template library.
- Sending: deterministic rule engine, no AI inference per message.
- Triggers: comment keyword, DM keyword, story reply, new follower, referral link click.
- Actions: send message, add/remove tag, set custom field, delay, condition, webhook call, human handoff.
- Pricing: flat monthly tiers by contact ceiling — $19 (1,000 contacts), $49 (10,000), $149 (50,000). Free plan with no card (100 contacts, 1 published flow). Paid plans have a 14-day free trial, card required. No per-message or overage charge inside a tier.
- Requirements: an Instagram professional account (Creator or Business) linked to a Facebook Page.
- Meta constraints enforced: one private reply per comment; no promotional messages outside the 24-hour window.
